CARING FOR YOUR SMILE, BETWEEN VISITS
Home Care Instructions
Our team wants to make sure all our patients are well informed about their home care instructions for any treatment provided by us. If you have questions, please contact the practice directly — our dental team is readily available to ease your concerns.
Daily care
Brush at least twice daily with a soft or electric toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste. Floss once a day. Use a tongue scraper daily, and rinse with an alcohol-free mouthwash where advised.
After treatment
Follow the specific post-operative instructions given at your visit — soft foods, cold compresses and gentle hygiene around treated areas. If anything feels wrong,
call us on 03 9089 7574.
Protect your investment
Wear your night splint or retainers as directed, avoid biting hard objects, limit staining foods after whitening or bonding, and keep your
six-monthly hygiene visits.
